The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means "Universal Life" and (Ki) which means "Energy."

A Reiki session can be used to promote physical healing, relaxation, and calm the mind, emotions, and nervous system. It can also release energetic blocks, unlock unconscious patterns, and bring to light greater self-awareness and clarity.

As a Reiki Master trained in Medical Reiki and the Japanese Usui lineage, I came to the practice initially to heal from chronic pain due to sciatica, which Physical Therapy, Chiropractic work, and Acupuncture did not resolve on its own. Once I realized the root of the pain had a spiritual and psychological dimension, I pursued the Reiki Master study track. The expansive possibilities of healing working with this powerful energy medicine is a natural fit for my intuitive gifts, which I incorporate in sessions as called. I have supported clients in releasing trauma from past accidents, surgeries, miscarriage, as well as physical and emotional aliments like depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
